Top Five Places To Celebrate a Birthday in Las Cruces, NM:

Being in college the only time I really go out to dinner and am willing to spend a little bit of money is when my friends and I are celebrating a birthday.  It’s the perfect time to get everyone together and go out and have a good meal.  We all try to pick different places each year for each of our birthday dinners, so here are the best places we have found so far.

 

 

  1.  De La Vegas:  This is a pecan grill and brewery.  The menu is filled with many different choices and under each item is a suggested beer to go with your meal.  The menu serves every taste bud, so everyone will be able to find something.  My favorite menu item is the Lava Burger, it is a hamburger stuffed with cheese.  It is very messy but extremely delicious!
  2. Si Bistro: This Italian cottage is a cozy place perfect for a small group or a larger one.  The food is authentic Italian, and everything on the menu is great.  The service is very good and the wait staff is very accommodating and friendly.  I had a salad when I went and it was good, but the flan I had for dessert was to die for!
  3. Sunset Grill:  This is a country club venue, located overlooking the golf course in Sonoma Ranch.  The menu offers its patrons an array of great choices for lunch or dinner.  I would recommend the prime rib sliders to anyone who loves a delicious steak, and to anyone else the California Club is also a favorite.
  4. St. Clair’s:  This is where I went for my 20th birthday, and to this day it is one of my all time favorites.  The wait staff is friendly and the service is all around great.  I love their Bistro Dip with Sweet Potato fries or a Chicken Caesar Salad.  This is the perfect place for any group of friends to go for a nice and fun birthday meal.
  5. Si Senor:   This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Las Cruces, NM.  The meal begins with the best chips and salsa in town, and then you get to pick an entrée off the immense menu.  They offer everything from enchiladas to stuffed sopapillas.  My favorite is the bean and cheese stuffed sopapilla.  They can accommodate every size of group and I am sure a dinner or lunch here won’t disappoint anyone!
