When you register for SouthwestRestaurants.com you are automatically enrolled in our Explorers Club (X-Club), our rewards program for our reviewers! We make it easy to earn points which you then redeem for gift certificates and more.

How Do I get Points?

You get points for the following:

  • Rating a restaurant (1-5 stars): 1 point
  • Checking in at a restaurant on Facebook: 15 points
  • Reviewing a restaurant (200 character minimum): 5 points
  • Receiving a “useful” vote on a review you’ve written: 2 points

What is a “useful” vote?

When you write a review, other users will see, at the end of your review, the question “Was this review useful to you?” When they say yes, you get points.

What can I do with my points?

Your points can be redeemed for the following:

  • 30 points: Bronze Certificate (set by restaurant, minimum $5 value)
  • 50 points: Silver Certificate (set by restaurant, minimum $10 value)
  • 100 points: Gold Certificate (set by restaurant, minimum $25 value)

Where can I use my gift certificate?

Every month, we have 10 X-Club Featured restaurants. You can use your gift certificate at any of the current month’s featured restaurants.

What if I write lots of great reviews? Will you give me anything special?

YES! If you earn at least 100 points a year, you will become a Super Explorer. This has all sorts of benefits including:

  • A Super Explorer card which will get you 20% off on every visit you make to the current month’s featured restaurants. (This card is good for 12 months from the date it is issued. This discount cannot be combined with Southwest Restaurants gift certificates)
  • A SouthwestRestaurants.com T-Shirt (these are super cool, and you will be the envy of your friends)
  • Special offers only available to super explorers. New restaurants are opening all the time, and they want you to review them, so we will send you AMAZING coupons and gift certificates on a regular basis
  • Special invitations to food events
